  • Campaign Organizer Information
    Nov 11, 2008

The documents listed here for download are for all locals who were active in the last civic election and spent more than $500.00 total in support of any campaign.

The Campaign Organizer Guide is a document published by the BC government. It should be used as a reference for determining whether or not your Local PAC (Political Action Committee) needs to declare as a "Campaign Organizer". If found in violation of the Campaign Financing rules, there are significant penalties.

The two MS Word documents are available for downloading. Each document is in a generic format and can be editted by you to put in your local information.

The registration document is supposed to be filed with your local government chief elections officer before you spend more than $500.00.

The financing disclosure document must be filed within 120 days from the civic election (March 15th, 2009)

If you have any questions, please contact your area Vice President or the BC Office.
